課程概述 |
This German course level A1 (basic speaker) is the so-called breakthrough or beginner level. It is a course for students without any or very few knowledge of German language. We work in our German language studies during the NTU Fall Semester with the text and workbook (incl. CDs) >Berliner Platz 1 NEU<. Our language work focuses on phonetics, pronunciation and first readings, to create a familiar relation with the German language and acquire it also as a basically 'correct' spoken language. Well spoken -even simple- words improve the listening comprehension (Hoerverstehen / HV) and lead later to a comprehension of whole sentences (without any written support). We study in the German grammar among others: nouns with their definite and undefined articles (der, die, das - ein, eine) and the verb conjugation (das Zeitwort). The German verbs express -as we know already from English- more exactly and precisely what we 'do' in time (present tense - past tense). In the first written texts (Textproduktion / TP) we exercises later structures of words and sentences (Gross -und Kleinschreibung, Verbposition, Fragesatz, Aussagesatz), the so-called German syntax. The oral expression and active participation (even in this beginner level) of each student is desired and welcome: in order to exercise the spoken language. 'Learning by doing' is the most effective or efficient way to remind and learn a foreign language. The language work of this NTU Fall Semester consists in the acquisition of the first six lessons (6 Kapitel oder Lektionen) of our book until the final examination. 'Deutsch im Alltag' means German in everyday life, and this life let us discover the country, German habits and customs, and we also try to compare this European culture with Taiwan. Very important for this language acquisition is the continuous and intensive work of each student with the workbook, the transcripts and especially the CDs, to deepen each lesson.
